Our hoodies are unisex, weigh 350 grams per square metre and come in sizes XS to XXL. The plain models are 100 percent organic cotton, the printed models 85 percent organic cotton with 15 percent recycled polyester. The fabric is PETA Approved Vegan certified at the producer.

What to look for in a sustainable hoodie
Three things: the material, the weight and the certification. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertiliser. Weight tells you how long a hoodie keeps its shape: below 280 grams per square metre the fabric stretches out faster, ours sit at 350 grams. A certification makes the claim verifiable. PETA Approved Vegan means no animal materials, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means the fabric was tested for harmful substances.
Printed or plain
There are two lines, with the same weight and fit but a different fabric. The printed collection carries the IT'S PAWSOME dog head as embroidery or screen print and is 85 percent organic cotton with 15 percent recycled polyester. THE BASICS are plain, without any print, made from 100 percent organic cotton, and produced after you order so no unsold stock is left over. The current price is on the product page.
Choosing your size
The hoodies are true to size. If you normally wear an M, order an M. Want to wear it over a sweater, take one size up. The size chart lists the flat measurements per size, measured from side seam to side seam.
Frequently asked questions
- Is a hoodie with recycled polyester still sustainable?
- Yes. The recycled polyester comes from existing plastic streams and keeps the fabric from shrinking and losing its shape. A garment that lasts longer is more sustainable than one that sags after ten washes. If you want cotton without any blend, the plain models are 100 percent organic cotton.
- Do ordinary hoodies contain animal materials?
- They can. Wool in the lining, a leather label or animal-based glue are common in the clothing industry. Our hoodies are made from PETA Approved Vegan certified fabric, so they contain no animal materials at all.
- Are these hoodies for women or for men?
- They are unisex and worn by both. Most products show which size the model wears and how tall they are, so you can judge how it will fit you.
- How do I wash an organic cotton hoodie?
- At 30 degrees, inside out, without fabric softener. That keeps the print and the fabric in shape. Line drying is best: a tumble dryer shrinks cotton and makes the fibres fuzzy sooner.
